Fotoscanner von Photomyne

I’m going through the process of helping my mum downsize - it’s that time of life and preserving the past is a privilege. This app is great! I can scan multiple photos at once, I can include anything written on the back, I can scan documents, anything really. Not saying it can’t be improved (sub category folders for eg) but it’s great and it’s a solid solution for the task I have. Strong recommend.

I originally got this app to take pictures of prints with my phone to scan a bunch of photos quickly in advance of a birthday and memorial. I do love the way it easily frames pics taken with a phone even though they may not be perfectly flat, or there may be a glare. I cancelled, though, before finishing my tub of old pictures because the other tools such as sharpening focus and maybe even glare reduction use AI in a way that actually changes people features, which is not only creepy but means they don’t look like the people any more so why bother?

The app works just as advertised on TV. I used to scan photos and it was a three step process which took an enormous amount of time to save to my device. With a Photomyne app, I was able to process over 150 photos in a matter of less than five minutes. The app recognize multiple pictures on the desktop, scan them and automatically enhanced the photos with greater clarity and brightness. Most of the photos dated back more than 85 years.

I started using this to save some older black and white family pictures and have kept using it on the newer pictures. I love it especially using the enhancement feature

You scan the photo, basically it’s not any better than when I take a picture of a picture. Then you have to buy credits to do anything with it. So I bought credits. And then it’s not allowing me to use the credits and asking me to subscribe for $60 a year and having to watch ads before you can proceed😡

I used this app to quickly digitize nearly 10,000 photos. I’ve been able to throw away paper photos I haven’t looked at in years because they were sitting on a shelf in over 40 albums I never opened. I donated the photo binders - which no longer collect dust on my shelves - and now have my photos available to easily look at whenever I please. Which is often. I am so grateful to have this amazing app - which fixes focus, color, and more. And it is incredibly affordable. I can’t sing Photomyne’s praises enough.
